Champion swimmers from the 59 Huddersfield Squadron of the Air Training Corps won two trophies and were runners-up for two other awards at an inter-squadron event. The 16 swimmers from the Huddersfield squadron took on competitors from 17 other teams from the West Riding wing of the ATC. The won the overall trophy and were runners-up for the male under 16s and female awards. Members of the squadron won 10 individual gold and 12 silver medals.
