A Page of Triangular Capes Nos. 20-25, c1890, (1944). Stamps from Cape of Good Hope, South Africa, issued on 1st September 1853, the two triangular stamps issued were a one penny in brick-red and a four pence in blue. The stamps were printed by Messrs Perkins, Bacon & Co in London, engraved by William Humphrys (1794-1865). The triangular stamps were demonetised on 1 October 1900. From British Postage Stamps, by S.
